IoT for animal wellbeing

Teamwork:

Climate change affects the need of farmers to ensure well-being and health conditions of their livestock, while maximizing the quality of the final product. To support these activities, a service will be developed to allow breeders to prevent the stress caused to animals by excessive temperature changes, especially in barn farms, and to monitor health conditions of animals in a non-invasive way, especially when grazing freely, through the use of modern IoT technologies. The collected data will be used, together with the medium-term forecasts, to build the monitoring and medium-term projection of the welfare of the farm.
